It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Yvette Rose Turning Robe, born September 26, 1979. Yvette is survived by her 7 beautiful children, Shanice Turning Robe, Lennon Turning Robe, Julian Turning Robe, Ty Ray Turning Robe, Chaneil Turning Robe, Joachim Turning Robe and her beautiful mini-me, Christa Apetagon and her grandchildren, Dreyson Labelle, Mikko Sunwalk, Lilly Turning Robe and Miss Maria’lee Turning Robe, her mother Stella Turning Robe and her siblings, Carolyn Turning Robe and Lenn Cutter, traditional adopted mom, Stella Brass, God Daughter Reah Bull Bear, traditional adopted dad, Herbie Black Kettle and her godmother Randa Wright. Yvette and Randa shared a very special bond as they had similar traits; they shared the same birthday, both left-handed, both tomboys in their younger years and Randa helped raise Yvette in the first years of her life, Yvette was Randa’s baby. Yvette also had numerous family members that she had taken as her brothers and sisters and had many, many friends she held close, and dearly.
Yvette was predeceased by her brother, Clinton Turning Robe, sister Patricia Turning Robe, father Neil Ellerbeck, maternal grandparents Frank and Rosa Turning Robe, and paternal grandparents Clarence and Mary Ellerbeck.
