Tammy Lee Axe made her journey home with the Creator on December 11, 2021 at her sister’s residence in Calgary, Alberta. She was born on May 30, 1987 in Calgary, Alberta. She was known as “Tez” to her friends. Tammy attended Xpey Elementary School in Vancouver, British Columbia, then Templeton Secondary School where she me many friends. She made her Cursillo here in Siksika Nation in 2014 with her theme song Ava Maria. She was known to be very outgoing and full of laughter to her friends and family, also to her children whom she loved very much. At a young age she was raised by her grandparents Priscilla Axe and Louie Many Bears along with Uncle Shawn. Later she was taken care of by her aunt Trudy who took care of her for a couple years on Siksika Nation. Later in life, she moved to Vancouver to be with her Kookum Shirley. Tammy is survived by her loving children; Darwin, Darlin, Darsin and Taydem, parents; Francine Axe & Wayne Horsefall and Flora Royal (whom she took as a mom); siblings, Allison Many Heads, Lynette, Adrian, and Ariel (Dallas); special cousin, Rhondelle Axe; cousins; Kenneth, Benjamin, Curtis, Vernon Axe, Candice, Joseph, Tiara, Crystal, Cheyenne, Clement, Tashina (Marcus), Farrah, Chantelle (Blaine), Tamille, Ozzy, Tiffany (Miguel), Dayna, Diedre, Kenton, Rusty, Max, Santaya, Kanisha, Waylon, Rani, Cecilia, Joshane, Taransa, Kari, Oylssa, Yvanna, Misty, Layla and Yvan; aunts, Barbara (Freddy), Yvette Leprete, Cindy (Shultz), Julie and Jollie Snow, Nayo, Bobby (Darrin), Jamie; uncles, Edwin, Ron, Shawn, Stacey and Lester (Leandra) also her nieces and nephews; Clasina, May, Toran, Phoenix, Sebastian, Anu, Virgil, Charidel, Passion, D’Liyah, Eduardo and Avery; traditional mom, Trudy Axe. Tammy is predeceased by her grandparents; Priscilla Axe & Errol Dyler, Shirley Mack & Norman Bunny; Great Grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Francis Axe and Mr. & Mrs. Adrian Horsefall ; family members: Lorraine, Collette, Tyson, Mariah, Aunt Jenny, Uncle Jordan, Lenora, Mikey & Amos. Family would like to thank the Staff at the South Health Campus Hospital Unit 66, Calgary Home Care & Siksika Home Care. Wake Services to be held Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Axe Avenue at the residence of Shawn Axe @ 6pm, Funeral Services to be held on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Siksika Anglican Church @ 11am.
