Stephen Charles Gratrix

On September 19, 2024, Stephen passed away in the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital. Stephen was born on April 22, 1948 in Brooks, Alberta. He is a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion serving as president in High River Branch 71 and held several executive positions including president in E.I.D. Brooks Branch 63. Stephen is also a member of the Brooks Elks Lodge No. 77.

He was predeceased by his parents Fred and Jenny and his brother Gil. Stephen is survived by his brother Gary (Edith) of Calgary; nephew Adam of Surrey, B.C.; niece Jessica (Nick) Norbury and sons Aydan, Trentyn, Teague, Cohen of Mission, B.C.; niece Kim (Mike) Desnoyers and daughters Mackenzie, Kiara of Okotoks, AB. Also lovingly remembered by his Aunt June Langstone and Uncle Peter Belchamber in England; cousin Judy (Larry) Vezina of Osoyoos, B.C.; cousin John (Charlene) Boscott of Clinton, B.C.; and sisters-in-law Shirley and Rosalie. Stephen has numerous cousins in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, England and Ireland.

Stephen would like a private family graveside service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Stephen’s name to: E.I.D.
