Sharon Ann Sleigh

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Sharon Ann Sleigh, a mother, grandmother, wife, aunt, cousin, niece and friend. Sharon passed away at 12:17 am, October 2, 2020. Sharon leaves to mourn her partner Terrance Black & her 5 children: Kendall, Brennan, Jarrod, Tannis, Kelly; grandchildren, Big Boy, Chase, Nazareth, Taijon, Talon, and Nevaeh; siblings, Darrel, Clifford, Karen (Floyd), Lee, Lori (Laura); aunts/uncles, Rose Running Bird, Melvin Running Bird, Christine Sleigh, Lavina Sleigh (Clayton), Catherine Sleigh. She is predeceased by her parents Theresa & Matthew Sleigh; grandparents;  Helen & Alphonse Sleigh/Mary & Paul Running Bird; daughter McKayla Sleigh; siblings, Leroy, Ashford, Bernadette, Leanne; aunts/uncles, Rosalyn Running Bird, Mavis Running Bird, Cecile Yellow Fly, Harold Sleigh, John Sleigh, Florine Sleigh, Francis Sleigh; adopted siblings, Danny Saddle Back, Karen Saddle Back, Darlene Saddle Back, Clifton Saddle Back, Karen (Bear Chief) Running Rabbit, Kim Bear Chief, Grant Bear Chief, Lorilee Calf Robe, Tracy Calf Robe; relatives to include: Good Eagle, Drunken Chief, Many Fires, Melting Tallow, Weasel Head, Crow Chief, Many Shots, Crow Child, Running Rabbit, Many Wounds, Lafrance, Sunwalk, Yellow Sun, Big Tobacco, Cayenne, White Eagle, Scalplock, White Elk, Soloway, Spring Chief, Breaker, Running BIrd, Saddle Back, Jerry, Leather, Little Chief, Bearhat, Three Suns, Big Snake, Sherman & Sharon (Grey) Yellowfly Family, Black Kettle, Winnipeg, Calf. We sincerely apologize if we have missed anyone.Wake Service will be held at the Sleigh Residence, Siksika Nation on Wednesday October 7, 2020 at 6 PM.  Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Siksika Nation on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 1 PM. Gravesite to follow at Little Washington Cemetery.
