Sharon Calf Robe Obituary

Ma tso waki (Beautiful Woman)
Sharon Calf Robe – May 10, 1959 – November 12, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a very special lady, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law and friend, Sharon Calf Robe of Siksika Nation.
Sharon was the last surviving child of Ben and Myrtle Calf Robe.
She had graduated high school at Drumheller Composite High School in 1978 and had worked at OSCC daycare, Sharon also took training in Grouard, and she had worked at Early Thunder Creations. Sharon made her cursillo many years ago and she was a devout Catholic who also supported her nieces and nephews at Sundance time with her presence, her prayers and her teachings.
Her love for the Calgary Flames was immense as she and her baby Chris watched every game and cheered them on. Their house was filled with Flames memorabilia and her love for pigs was evident as every part of her house had ornaments, decorations, and knick knacks of pigs. Sharon loved her bingo and had attended and supported many fundraisers before her passing. She also loved to bead and created the most beautiful pieces during this time. In her later years, she took up a hobby of coloring and loved to color in the comfort of her home. Another passion of Sharon’s was handgames where she supported local gatherings and loved to play the game alongside Chris. Her humor was well known and she loved to share her jokes, laughter and crazy comebacks with those around her and she loved to tease her nieces and nephews always.
Sharon is survived by her children: Steven (Tamara), BJ (Dakota), Chris and Tracey (Denise); her grandchildren Hiway (Steven Jr.), Chloe, Jessie, Noah, Rush, Benny, Zoey, Riley and Ava; sisters-in-law Wanda CR, Victoria CR, Claudia P. and Nancy Big Crow; numerous nieces and nephews that she took as her own children and extended families: Anderson, Sitting Eagle, Crow Chief, Black Kettle, Rabbit Carrier, Weasel Head, Bear Robe, Weasel Moccasin, Wings, Rides at the Door, Across the Mountain, Pretty Youngman, Crane Bear, Stevens, Back Fat, Running Rabbit, Owl Child, McDougall.
She is predeceased by her parents: Ben and Myrtle; siblings Clara, Sonny, Doris, Kathy, Ed Sr., Wilfred, George, Larry, Bruce; Sister in law Marie CR; nieces and nephews Arlene, Stoney, Jacey, Larissa, Janice, Elton, Leland, Amber, Todd, Carson Otter, Mardi BSL, Roslyn WL, Shirley WL, Jerome WL and Charmaine.
Wake Services will be held at Tracy and Denise Calf Robe’s residence from 2-5:30pm for immediate family; and at Gordon Yellow Fly Memorial Arbor at 6pm for extended relatives, friends and public on Tuesday November 18, 2025. Funeral service will take place at 11:00am on Wednesday November 19, 2025 at Gordon Yellow Fly Memorial Arbor.
