Sharie Ann (Semenuik) Mydynski

Mydynski, Sharie Ann (1968-2021) - 

Sharie Ann Mydynski, beloved wife of Grant Mydynski of Brooks, Alberta, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on December 11, 2021 at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary at the age of 53. Sharie was born on November 7, 1968, daughter to Walter and Elaine Semenuik of Sheho, Saskatchewan. Sharie was raised on the farm south of Sheho. In July of 1994 Sharie married her soul mate, Grant Mydynski at a little village church located at Arron Vesna, Saskatchewan and ventured onto Brooks, Alberta where they made their home until Sharies passing. Sharie had a love and passion for cooking and worked many jobs in the food industry until she finally opened her own home based business, Delicious Dishes, where she cooked up a storm and served her food to many people in Brooks and the surrounding area. She loved creating new dishes and styles of perogies, and eventually found the love of baking. She spoiled her family and friends with the treats she came up with and nobody in her presence ever went hungry! Sharie had a deep love and appreciation for her family and friends and always took the time to make each person feel acknowledged, appreciated and loved. Sharie will be sadly missed by all who knew her, but missed most by her husband, sisters, brother, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and her in-laws. We will deeply miss Sharie’s laughter and her sassy attitude, her jokes and that “look” she always gave Grant. Sharie will forever remain cherished in our hearts and her memories and stories will comfort all of those who were lucky enough to know her. Sharie was predeceased by her parents Walter in 2006 and Elaine in 2017, Uncle Eugene in 2016, Aunty JoAnne in 2020, Grandparents, Steven and Eva Peesker, Grandparents Bill and Mary Semenuik, and her niece Samantha Stanicki Sharie leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband Grant Mydynski, her sisters Cindy (Brian) Stanicki, Brenda (Clint) Raffard, Brother, Bryan Semenuik, her parent in-laws Lorne and Rose Mydynski, Brother in laws, Jason (Cheree) Mydynski, Shawn (Tina) Mydynski and sister in law Lana ( Doug) Williamson and numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A private funeral service for Sharie's family will be held Thom's Funeral Home in Duchess, Alberta with Father Warren Dungen officiating. Graveside services will be held at Brooks Cemetery.
