Seth Christian Black Horse

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Seth. Seth Black Horse, of Siksika nation, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the tender age of 22 years old. Seth went home, to the creator, to be with his beloved father Narvil Kootenay and brother Kessler Pipestem.

Seth was born and raised in Calgary, AB, on April 3, 2000. He attended Piitoyis school and when he moved back home to Siksika nation, he excelled at the Siksika storefront school to finish grade 12. Seth was known to be the best loving, caring, patient, and protective father to his children. He will be remembered for his infectious smile, kind heart, and amusing sense of humor. Seth loved to dance and make people laugh, he was always around to help and had no judgment. Seth will be missed by everyone who loved him. May Seth rejoice with the angels. 

Seth will be dearly missed by his mothers, Jackie, and sherry Blackhorse. His family, Gloria good eagle, and his two beautiful, treasured children, Jahseh and beautiful.

He leaves to mourn his brothers, Leo, Ethan, Tristen, mason, and Joshua. Sisters, Shyanne Pipestem (Chad Kaquitts), Kierra black horse (Billy), Presley Medicine shield, and "traditional sister; Sadey black horse. Nephews; Keiren, baby chad, Baby Kessler. Nieces; Aliyah and Kazely. Grandmother; Marisa Black Kettle (Daniel). Aunties; Tracey and Brooke Blackhorse, Tammy and Rosie Kootenay, Yolanda good Stoney. Uncles; Lyndon(Dena), Mario, Floyd Blackhorse. Great uncle; Lenoard black horse (Rhoda). Great Aunty; Delphine black horse (rob).

Seth is predeceased by his grandmother, Vivian black horse. Grandfather Kessler Olds, Uncles; baby Donald, Bronco, Jason, kelvin, Jackson, Bradley, Baby Brad Black Horse. Aunties; Lenora, Shyla, Stacey Black Horse. Cousins; Baby Jewels, Shayla, and Leslie Sunwalk
