Serenity Skye Bouma

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter,
sister, sister-in-law, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend Serenity Skye Bouma , also
lovingly remembered as “Ren Ren”. Serenity was born on October 27th, 1997. She was called back home on April 9th, 2025, at the age of 27 years old. Serenity
was called home to join our ancestors as many would agree before her time here with us on
Earth.

Serenity is described as a great friend to all to had the opportunity to know her. She has touched the lives and hearts of many people due to her
gentle , easy going, funny, kind, and naturally beautiful nature. She was very welcoming to
anyone she encountered, sharing her smile and kindness everywhere she went.

“She was a very talented
and proud First Nations woman and shared a passion for singing/dancing, knitting, music,
arts, her children, laughing with loved ones and enjoying life to the fullest.” In her early years she used to walk around the yard and always say "the muffin man the muffin man". One of many fond memories exhibiting her silliness. When she was only 4 years old she would draw pictures and say to anyone making noise around her "you're agitating me!" An example of her cleverness even at a young age.

Serenity is survived by her loving parents Steven Flett and Cheri Bouma; her siblings
Kaiden Healy, Dezmen, Jayden Running Rabbit, Cierra, Skyler, Majestic, Nevada and Neveya Bouma, Shonta Bouma
her children Sylas, Azayla and Angela Reign; The father of her children and their families Fritz Northpeigan, William Rider, Nathan Yautz; Maternal Grandfather Robert (Bob) Bouma Sr; Aunts Melissa/Miranda Bulldog, Valerie Flett, and Audrey Flett; her uncles Derek Kipling and Darryl Flett; great-aunt Lorena(Girlie) McMaster; Uncle Colin Bouma; cousins she took as sisters and brothers;
her cherished nieces and nephews; and all those who loved her so dearly.

She was predeceased by her Uncle; Robert Bouma; her cousin's Robi Bouma, Kim Knowlton Allison Knowlton, Fernando McMaster and Aaliyah MeltingTallow Great
