It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandy, a beloved Wife, Mom, and Nan, who left us after a courageous battle with Dementia and Cancer.

Sandy was the true love of her husband, Michael, with whom she shared a beautiful life filled with joy, adventure, and countless cherished memories. Together, they created a warm and loving home, where family was always the heart of their lives. Sandy’s love for her family was boundless; always ready with a warm hug, a listening ear, and words of encouragement.

An avid reader, Sandy found joy in the pages of her favorite authors and had an endless quest for new recipes, which she loved to share with her family during gatherings. She cherished the moments spent camping with her family, creating lasting memories under the stars with a glass of wine around a firepit. These adventures were filled with laughter, storytelling, and the simple joys of nature.

A true love's wife, a mother's grace,
A Nan's soft hand in time and space.
You fought so brave, through shadows deep,
A gentle strength, our hearts to keep.

With book in lap, by fire's light,
Camping joys beneath the night.
White wine at dusk, a peaceful sip,
Love's tender touch on every lip.

Now free from pain, with Mom above,
Our guiding star, our endless love.
You live forever, shining bright,
A cherished heart, our pure delight.

Sandy, you will be deeply missed,
but the time has come for you to rest.
So go in peace, you’ve earned your sleep.
Your love in our hearts, we’ll eternally keep.

Sandy’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever remember her warmth, kindness, and the love she so freely gave. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael; her daughter and husband, Michelle & Jim; and her granddaughter and husband, Kristina & Ryan.

The family will hold a private celebration of Sandy’s life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Sandy’s name to Dementia or Cancer research.
