Our dear Rufus, farmed most of his life by the guidance of our late Father, Piita. He learned
hard work ethics from this, along with his brothers which also took care of the Winnipeg
farm and cattle, making sure everything was good and done working the fields. He was a
simple man and did not expect much. The rewards came from good crops, and the cattle
and horses were fed well.
Rufus is survived by his wife, Roberta Old Woman At War; Children: Beff Wolf Child, Carlis
Wolf Child, Trevor “Poncho” (Tasha) Stimson, Robin (Sheldon) Old Woman; Grandchildren,
Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren; Siblings: Caroline (Randy) Spring

Biblical Scripture: John 14:1-3 “My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so,
would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and
prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be
where I am."
