With profound sadness and deep gratitude for a well lived life, we announce the passing of Rosemary Poor Eagle, (Kimmataaki-Kindhearted woman) our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and family matriarch, on May 27/2026 at the age of 84 surrounded by her loving Family.
She was born in Blackfoot Hospital on October 20/1941, She is survived by her Loving Daughters, Carlene, Lynne; Son; Robin, Harley also by her precious grandchildren, Andy, Heidi, Kris Sky, Keenan, Byron, Kyle, Justin, Hilary, Whitney Andrew, Natasha and Tyler; Her treasured Great Grandchildren; Hayden, Ronin, Sienna, Titan, Tracy, Addison, Hailey, Maisy, Willow, Jade, Tilden, Tiana, Keanna, Nikka, Keegan, Zoe, Abby, Emma, Paige, Shadessa, Carlin, Taige, Frankie, Odin, Shadow, Ryker, Jorzel, Lawerence, Vaden, Tilly, Mason, Payton, Anthony, Colby; Her godchild; Dori Gay Weasel Child her Sister In-laws Betty Mills, Joan Poor Eagle(Lawerence)Brother in law; Douglas Poor Eagle(Beverly) and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish her memory
Mom was the heart of her family a woman whose love, wisdom, strength, and generosity touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. As a devoted mother, she dedicated her life to nurturing, guiding, and supporting her children through every stage of life. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and unconditional love.
Beyond her role as a mother, Mom embraced her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children. She offered encouragement, guidance, and a listening ear whenever needed. To her nieces and nephews, she was more than an aunt; she was a second mother whose love knew no boundaries. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled in all who knew her.
Known for her kindness, resilience, and unwavering devotion to family, Mom celebrated every milestone, comforted every sorrow, and brought people together with her warmth and compassion. She taught those around her the importance of love, faith, respect, and perseverance.
Mom was part of the Old Sun & Hind Bull Clan her relatives were: Big Snakes, Poor Eagle, Sun Shoe, Storms, Big Eye, Three Suns, Good Eagle, Drunken Chief/Own Chief, Breaker, Crane, Wolf Ear, Crow Chief, Turning Robe, Weasel Head, Low Horn she came from a large extended family.
She was predeceased by Her loving Husband of 50 years Amos Poor Eagle, (Son) Jordan Poor Eagle (Daughter) Jacqueline Poor Eagle (Granddaughter) Tracy Poor Eagle (Grandsons) Dustin Poor Eagle, Jordy Poor Eagle, Her Parents; Albert and Maggie Big Snake (Sisters) Margaret Youngman, Theresa Bear Chief, Joan Brown Weasel, (Brothers) James Big Snake, Bernard Big Snake.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in the countless memories she leaves behind and the enduring impact of her love. Her spirit will continue to guide us, and her legacy will remain a source of strength for generations to come.

Wake services will be held at her residence Map 10 SH64, POOR EAGLE Flats on June 02/2026 @ 3:00- 6:00 for family then open to the public.
