Ronald Edward Chizik

Ronald Edward Chizik passed away at Bassano on July 8th, 2025 after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Bassano, Alberta on May 3rd 1962 to Jess and Shirley Chizik. Ronnie was the oldest of 4 children and was raised on the family farm near Bassano where he resided until his passing. Ronnie spent his adult life helping with the farm. He enjoyed fishing in his younger years and was a long-time member of the Bassano Elks. Ronnie was predeceased by his sister Sherri, mother Shirley, and his father Jess. He is survived by his sister Genevieve Johnston (Jesse), his brother Gary Chizik and several nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be planned at a later date.
