Rita Elvie Richardson

Rita Elvie Richardson, born in Metisko, AB on August 17, 1940, slipped away quietly on August 26, 2023 with family by her side. Rita's vivacious personality and zest for life won her the love of many friends. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and her ability to bring an element of fun to whatever she did.  Gone before her are her first husband, Ron Baynham; their son, Avery; granddaughter, Crystal; grandsons, Robin and Chad; her sister-in-law, Marion Maxwell; and her second husband, Herb Cleavland. Left to hold her in their hearts are her husband, Nick Richardson; her children, Richard (Donata) Baynham, Kirk (Bernie) Baynham, Trent (Mindy) Baynham, Ronita (Vince) Unser; daughter-in-law, Louise Perry; her brother, Rueben Maxwell; as well as 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. A celebration of Rita's life will be held on September 9, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Canadian Legion in Brooks, AB. If desired, friends may make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
