Reginald A Prairie Chicken

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Reginald Allen Prairie Chicken. Reginald was born at the Blackfoot Indian Hospital on November 22, 1947 and passed away peacefully in his home in Calgary on March 17, 2020. He leaves to mourn his sister, Rose Running bird and nieces and nephews Roland, Michealine, Jaylene, Jenny and Janessa Running Bird. Shirley and Cecil Hill, and Patricia, Francis Cutter Jr. His Adopted Sisters Alexandria Catface and Deberlie Lopex Jiminez and family. He was Predeceased by his parents Joseph & Patricia (Sunshoe) Prairie Chicken, Sisters, Josephine, Marie and Rosa. Reginald attended Crowfoot School in his younger years and was a Talented Basketball and Hockey Player. He grew up in Siksika Nation and later left to make Calgary his home. Reginald is predeceased by numerous extended family and was greatly loved by all who knew him. He has numerous extended family from the Prairie Chicken, Manyfires, Sunshoe families. We know we left out a lot and during this time it was very difficult to plan with all the restriction in place. We Thank those that have kept the family In Prayer and support.

Final viewing will be held at the Residence of Delbert Many Fires @ 9am and Funeral Service will be held @ Holy Trinity Catholic Church on March 25, 2020 @ 11am. Reginald will be laid to rest at the Little Washington Cemetery. The family thanks those for the love and prayers and support during this difficult time.
