Peter Simon Calf

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of a dear son, husband, brother, uncle, cousin and friend Peter Simon Calf PITA (Eagle). Peter was born in Strathmore, Alberta on June 30, 1987, he was 34 years old. Peter leaves to mourn his family who loves him very much.

He is survived by his wife Heather Wolf Child/Running Rabbit his baby Tayden Orion Calf. His Parents: Carla Calf, Carl Many Guns (Barb), Ken Creighton (Angie).  His brothers and sisters: Melissa Running Rabbit (Keith), Lori Buffalo, Thomas Many Guns (Melissa), Colton Bear Chief, Adam Red Crow (Kara),  Julius Peace Maker, Ellie (Micheal), Jason, Brandon, and Kassie Creighton.  Grandparents- Rosalyn (Dimples) Creighton, Gerald and Laura Sitting Eagle, Roberta Pelltier, Jerry Black Horse, Evelyn Many Guns, Bryan Stevens (Jeanette). Special Niece’s, Precious (Sandy), Hailey, Acacia, Ivyrose Tianna, Honey, Jewel and Marley . Nephews Matthew, Joseph and Adam Jr.  Numerous Uncles, Aunties and Cousins.

Peter grew up in Siksika Alberta and was very active in Sports. He played Siksika Minor hockey from 1990-2008. He played slo-pitch baseball with 38 Special for nearly 10 years. His passion was playing guitar, working with Helitack and Fire fighting. He worked with a family owned company Precious Decorating for 16 years as a Drywall Finisher and Service Technician. Peter was a very respectable, humble and caring person to everyone who knew him.

Peter is predeceased by his sister Josette Many Guns, Grandparents Irvin(Sr) and Clara Calf, Carl(Sr) Many Guns, Yvonne Black Horse, Melvin (Sonny) Creighton Great grandparents-Simon(Sr) and Mary Sitting Eagle, Peter and May Calf, Thomas and Josette Many Guns, Mickey and Annie Crazy Boy, Mike and Frances Running Rabbit.

Peter is survived by his extended families Calf, Sitting Eagles, Many Guns, Jerrys, Kennedys, Pelltier, Leathers, Sunwalk, Many Bears, Running Bird, Black Kettles, Rabbit Carrier, Calf Robe, Weasel Head, Scalplock and Crow Chief of Siksika, White Calf, Swindlers from Saskatchewan Big Child and Red Calf from Sunchild,  Weasel Moccassin, Black Plumes of Kainai Standing Rock, Windy Boy, Slim John from Rocky Boy MT, Creightons, Running Rabbits,  Crop Eared Wolf, Shades, Many Fingers, White, Quills, Yellow Wings, Oka, Shot Both Sides, Royals, Star Lights of Kainai 

Wake services are to be held at his residence in Siksika, Alberta on Monday, Sept 27, 2021, at 1 pm

Funeral Services will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Siksika Nation on Tuesday, Sept 28, 2021, With Father long officiating
