Patricia Poole

Patricia Elaine (Robertson) Poole died Saturday July 10, 2021 in Brooks, Alberta after a long struggle with cancer. Born May 16, 1948 in St. Thomas, Ontario to A. Ruth (Slaght) and Gordon F. Robertson and was raised on a dairy farm in Littlewood, Ontario. She was an amazing, joy filled and adventurous person. She left home at seventeen to teach with a special teaching permit in Northern Manitoba. She worked her whole life in Nova Scotia, Ontario, Washington State, Virginia, North and South Carolina. She loved her visits to Mexico and after her stroke moved to Alberta.
She leaves behind a number of relatives and friends who will miss her joy of life and jest for adventure. Her sister's who grieve for her are Frances (late Harry) Wilson, daughter Wanda(Andy) Taylor, children Samuel, Brianna, Gordon, Anique Taylor, daughter Michelle (Steve)Albert) children Thomas Haggerty, Mallory and Dana Underwood. Sister Glenda (late Wayne) Fenlon, children and god children, Joanna (Eric) Slota and children Erica, Logan, Alexis Slota, Neal (Sandra) Fenlon, children Callan, Holly Fenlon and Nathan Fenlon. There is a new generation started, may she be a little piece them and all of us. Bless and keep you with love. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, care workers, friends and a special thank you to Jack Merritt who was there for her to the end and kept in touch with us.
