Michael, a resilient and courageous young man passed away on January 6th, 2025 at the age of 42 years old. Despite facing numerous challenges throughout his life, including growing up in the foster care system, Michael remained a beacon of hope and inspiration to those around him.
Born on March 24, 1982, Michael spent his childhood navigating the complexities of the foster care system. Despite the difficulties he faced, he remained determined to build a better life for himself. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the lessons he taught about resilience, perseverance, and the importance of never giving up.
Michael is survived by his mother Angelina (Henry) Many Shots; his brothers Ian McMaster, Jessie Lee Henry Many Shots, Tyler (Chrissy) Many Shots, Cory Many Shots, Cody Many Shots; his sister Kayla Many Shots; his nephews Issac, Dreden, Wiliam, Tyler Jr. and Goku Many Shots; his nieces Tylayne McMaster, Aurora Many Shots, Peria; his aunties Patricia Yellowsun, Georgina Cardinal, Melvina McMaster, Virginia Daniels, and Regina Red Crow; his Uncle Duane(Gabe) Many Shots; numerous cousins and relatives in and around Siksika Nation, Alberta.
Michael was predeceased by his grandparents RoseAlma and George Many Shots; his father Adolphus Audy; his aunties Olive Audy, Lillian Yellow Sun; his uncles Charles Mcmaster, Gilbert Cardinal, Wesley Red Crow; his brother Lindsay Yellow Sun; his cousin Zennon Yellow Horse; foster mother Doreen Fairbrother. The family apologizes if we missed anyone that knew Michael.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church on January 17, 2025 at 11:00am – viewing, 1:00pm Church Service. Graveside service to follow at Little Washington Cemetery (Siksika Nation, Alberta) with Father Naveed Arif officiating.
