Melvina Henry Weasel Head (November 9, 1956 - April 21,2021) was originally from Smith Lake, NM (Tsin nabas si a – rounded wood/tree hill). A descendent of Edmund J. Henry Sr., a Navajo Code talker. Her Navajo clan was: Dzilt aa (near the mountain clan) born for the Todich ii nii (bitter water clan) maternal grandparents Tl ogi (Zia clan) paternal grandparents Ashihii (salt clan). She is survived by her oldest sister Jean Whitehorse – who she always shared her birthday with, older sister Pearl Henry, older brother Edmund J. Henry Jr., older Benjamin Henry, Genevieve Henry Yazzie. Also Survived by her loving husband, Larry Weasel Head, Son Matthew Henry (Felina), Daughters, Latisha Weasel Head (Darren), Jackie McMaster (Sam), Ellafaye Jean (Jacquy), Sonia Duck Chief (Kelly). Gladys Weasel Head (Ty), Dale Weasel Head and numerous Grandchildren. Predeceased by her father Edmund J. Henry Sr, her oldest brother Robert Henry, her daughter Tashina Weasel Head, her mother Gladys Tso, Henry her brother Jasper Henry and her youngest brother Kent Henry. Wake Services will be at Larry Weasel Head’s Residence at 6pm on April 29, 2021. Funeral Services at the Gordon Yellow Fly Memorial Arbour on April 30, 2021 at 11am.
