Melfert Three Suns

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear father, grandfather, nephew, uncle and friend; Melfert Three Suns on June 29, 2023 at the age of 55 years. Melfert was born to the late Harold and Emma Wright on November 24, 1967. He was known to always have a shy but contagious, infectious smile; Melfert always made you feel welcome. In his younger days he enjoyed listening to music, playing guitar and working on vehicles, He was a very proud father to Scott (Mary), Cheryl (Sun), Nathan (Lisa) , Jasmine, Christopher (Jaslyn), Lisa , Emma, (Blaide) and Melfert Jr. and grandpa to Malina, Keaton, Nikolai, Cali, Caydence, Hayden, Raiden, Layton, Dante, Heartlynn, Tayla, Beverly, Damien, Darius, Haizen, Ryder, Vanellope, Koda, Erilyn and Jaaron. He loved his children and grandchildren unconditionally and always made sure he told them so. He also leaves behind his siblings, Stanley, Irwin and Yolanda; uncles and aunties, Frank, Stanford, (Karen) Alvin, Stanley (April), Donna, Ina, Jaylene (Randy), Joyce; great auntie Myrtle Black Rider; special friend, Crystal Big Old Man. Melfert had many nieces and nephews and other family members. He will be reunited with his parents whom he missed dearly, Harold and Emma, Wright; son, Silas; brothers, Jeffrey, Aaron, Dwayne, Benny Three Suns and Donald Little Tent and sister Roan Threesuns. Melfert was predeceased by his grandparents, Pius and Margaret Three Suns, Luke Wright and Annie Maguire; uncles Henry, Donnie Dean, Michael and Adrian Big Old Man; aunties Rosalyn, Joyce, Priscilla and Albertine; great auntie Emily Three Suns; extended families Three Suns, Maguire, Water Chief, Wright, Big Old Man, Goodeagle, Eagle Speaker, Black Rider, and Red Crow. The family apologizes for anyone we may have missed.
