 Big Eye - Maurice Joseph

May 28, 1959 – February 13, 2020

Maurice Big Eye peacefully passed away at the foothills hospital, February 13, 2020 at 4:09 Am. It is with great sadness that the Big Eye-Storm family announces the passing of Maurice Storm. He was born at Siksika Blackfoot Hospital on May 28, 1959. He leaves behind his loving daughters, Kelly (Gary), Janie (Heston) also his grand children Kaittyn, Autumn, Grayson, Lane, Arlo, Jordana, Drayden, Sapphira, Odin and Nova. Morris is also survived by his siblings, Gregory Big Eye, Theresa (Ronnie) Gildas (Melinda) Jackie, Adelene (Jim) Lyanna, Marie Big Eye, sister In Law Joan Munro.  Maurice is also survived by his aunt Rosemarie Poor Eagle, and his support caregiver Barb Stefanich.

Maurice was a very talented artist, who took pride in his work. His art work went as far as U.S.A and Canada. He attended the Crowfoot Residential School. He was a very kind and humble man that had a great sense of humor with his stories. In his younger years he was a very skilled hunter. He also enjoyed playing music with his guitar, entertaining family and friends. Those that knew Maurice knew he was a jokester along with his hilarious stories.

Maurice  is predeceased by his parents Maggie Storm, Jack Bigeye, Jim Munro, siblings Juliannna Barrke, Clarence Rusty Big Eye, Clarence James Big Eye, Rory Storm, Mychelle Storm, auntie Nancy Melting Tallow, Bertha Storm, Gail Rabbit Carrier, uncle Dave Storm, Clifford Big Eye.
