Maryanne Rebecca Lynch

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Maryanne Rebecca Lynch of Calgary Alberta on March 9, 2022, at the age of 41 years. Our beloved Mother, Sister, Aunty, and friend will be greatly missed.

Maryanne was raised in Edmonton Alberta by her late mother Joan Lynch and late father Ian Lynch. When Maryanne was 3 years old the family moved to Calgary. Joan and Ian had 6 children Marie, late Chris, Heather, late Crystal, Maryanne, and James. Maryanne had a pure heart; she was nice to everyone she met and she wasn’t one for conflict. Maryanne loved all of her siblings and her siblings have many fond memories of her growing up. Growing up Maryanne loved her mom’s corn beef soup.

Maryanne’s greatest love is her son Denzel Wildman who was born in 2003. Everyone knew how much she cherished her one and only son. She was an amazing mother and she was very protective of Denzel. The unconditional love that the two have for each other will remain strong for eternity.

Denzel remembers his mom as being a sweet loving mom, the sweetest person he ever knew, he wishes very much that she was still here and he is trying his best to understand and cope with this sudden loss. Denzel can sense his mom is near her love will guide him forever. When Denzel looks up into the stars at night he will remember his loving mother's face, her smile, and her laugh. The love and joy that Maryanne has for Denzel will remain strong and she will always be by his side.

Maryanne loved to cook; she really knew how to chef up a good meal. She was a beauty enthusiast and very talented at doing makeup. She loved her Chihuahua Santos and she loved to take him for walks. Maryanne had a great sense of humour, she was always so thoughtful and generous. She was very humble and never needed recognition for the kindness and love she spread.

Maryanne attended bow valley college in Calgary ab, she did her adult upgrading in 2005. Maryanne achieved her training as a Health Care aide worker and she did her practicum at the Rosedale hospice where she was hired on as staff in January 2018. The staff and the patients as Rosedale absolutely loved and adored Maryanne. They described her as loving, gentle, kind, and caring. The patients always told management how much they loved Maryanne as they all saw her as gentle, peaceful, thoughtful, and funny. She always took into consideration what her patients needed and paid attention to the smallest details to make sure they were happy. She has touched the hearts of many and will be deeply missed by all.

Maryanne is survived by her son: Danzel Wildman, siblings: James Lynch, Marie Lynch (Edward Crook), Heather Lynch, nephews: Dallas Lynch (Michelle Small), Justin Lynch, Jack Crook(Taylor Blackrider), James Whitney, nieces: Sophia Lynch, Maria Small-Lynch, Melanie Small, Rae Dawn Whitney, Morley family: Charlize Wildman, Deejay Jacobs, Sky, Isyss.

Maryanne was predeceased by her mother Joan Lynch, father Ian Lynch, brother Christopher Lynch, sister Crystal Alook, Grandma and Grandpa Macgillvary, Nana and Papa, Mr. and Mrs. Troule, nephew Phoenix Fox, niece Reanne Whitney.
