Marion Susan ( Peggy) Johnston
June 27, 1959 - January 9, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Peggy, loving wife, mother, daughter and aunt. Peggy was predeceased by her parent’s, Raymond and Marion Rose Hickin of Flin Flon, Manitoba, and her Stepson Billy Johnston of Brooks, Alberta. She leaves to mourn, her loving husband Paul, sons Brodie and Deston Ethier, stepdaughter Candace ( Curt ) and granddaughter Hannah, stepdaughter Becca Johnston and granddaughter Rori; sisters, Sandy, Judy ( Pat ), Her Brother Tom ( Jacquie), nieces, nephews and a huge circle of friends. Peggy was born and raised in Flin Flon, Manitoba, moved to Winnipeg and graduated from Balmoral Hall and went on to study at the University of Manitoba, then moved to 100 Mile House to co/own and operate a KFC franchise. She later moved to Calgary and studied Financial Administration at the University of Calgary, where she also met and married Paul in 2011. Peggy, as an avid gardener spent many hours outside with her dogs, enjoying her gardening and her love of birds. Peggy cherished her family, enjoyed life and took on challenges with optimism and perseverance. rest in peace my love and soar to new heights and enjoy the wonders of the universe
