October 16, 1983 – June 21, 2021

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our daughter known to everyone as Bunny, at the age of  37 years old.   She leaves behind 8 children, Daniel, Katari, Layla, Nickal, Selena, Max, Mitchel and Victoria. Three nieces, Shaylynn, Mylee, Tsu’Aki. Sister Jaylene (Sheldon) Bear Shirt and traditional sister, Lisa Daniels, along with Parents, Marcell & Delores Right Hand

Bunny was a very loving and compassionate person who was very involved in practicing her traditional ways through dancing, sewing, beading, painting and crafting; everything her late Grama Marie would tell her to do. As a result, she became an entrepreneur. She was taught how to sew tipis by her Grama Marie and Mother Delores.  Bunny graduated from Old Sun Community College in 2005, she then went on to complete her Hospitality & Tourism certificate with Bow Valley College in 2006. Bunny loved to be around horses, she was a horse-woman who participated in wild horse racing and always had a special love for her horse, Bart of 23 years.  Bunny was an active participant & volunteer of the Calgary Stampede Elbow River Camp. She is best known as a Tipi Raising Champion for the team, known as “Marie’s Funkies”.We will miss her beautiful spirit, her smile and her amazing humor that touched everyone who had to honor of knowing her

Grandfather’s: Micheal Peacemaker, Raymond Waterchief  & Francis Waterchief.  Grandmother’s: Georgina Ann Manybears, Marie Waterchief,  Reverend Margaret Waterchief.  Uncles: Arthur Right Hand, Timothy Spotted One, Gregory Young, Jerry Daniels, Jeffrey Little Light, Aunties: Marilyn Right Hand, Jean Manyheads, Deborah Spottted One, Gail Right Hand, Joyce Daniels, Margarita Flynn, Mildred Simeon, and Stephanie Waterchief.
