Manuel Medeiros

It's with broken hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved husband, brother, father, son, and uncle, Manuel Duarto Medeiros.

Left behind to cherish his memory are, his wife Nora, children Nancy, Manuel Jr. (Stacey), and Jenny; his parents Manuel & Maria, siblings Dena (Ric), Henrick, Frank (Shelley) along with nieces, nephews, cousins and special in-laws.  

Manuel was born in Povoacao Azores, Portugal on April 30, 1957.  The second of four children, he was raised on a family farm East of Bassano, fascinated by all its equipment.  We would often see him under the hood tinkering, learning by trial and error the mechanics, which lead him to his passion for vehicles and his career as a machinist.

He was a strong-willed and caring man, with an amusing sense of humor, infectious smile and kind heart, which was all reflected in his love for his 3 children and his current wife, Nora.  Manuel loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed camping with his family.  We all loved hearing the embellished stories of his adventures.  In his leisure time, we would often find him snoozing in his mancave, while watching movies or hockey on his big screen TV.  

We all miss you dearly Manuel, and will forever hold you close in our hearts.  But, we find comfort in knowing you are now in heaven, watching over each of us and will continue to guide us on each our journeys.
