Lorne Edwin Lavhey November 29, 1969~ July 6th, 2022
With great sadness and broken hearts, the family of Lorne Edwin Lavhey of Brooks, Alberta regretfully announces his unexpected passing on Wednesday, July 6th, 2022, at the age of 52 years. Lorne was a very hard worker, a man with a tough exterior but a heart of gold. He was a loyal friend to many and deeply loved. He was a fierce protector of those he loved, and his kids were his everything. He had a propensity to tell some good stories even if they were a little exaggerated. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors. Left to cherish him in loving memory are his children Tiffany (Mason) Byrd, Nathan Lavhey and Destiny Lavhey; step-son Brandon (Nicole) Wiscombe; grandson Jaxon Byrd and step grandchildren Hayden, Nevelle and Bailey; parents Lloyd and Mary Bolt; sister Cora Bolt (Craig); brothers Craig (Lenore) Bolt, Toby (Janice) Bolt, and Quinton Bolt; nieces and nephews Samantha, Raven, Nicholas, Georgia, Kalem, and Camden; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Lorne was predeceased by his second mom his Grandmother Janet Lavhey, his grandfather George Lavhey, Grandfather Charles Bolt, Grandmother Myrtle Bolt, Uncles Roger Lavhey, George Lavhey, Aunts Janet Lavhey and Bertha Lavhey and cousin and very special friend Carl Lavhey. Private family viewing to occur on July 12th from 3-5pm. Public viewing for extended family and friends to occur July 12th from 5-8pm. Cremation to take place with gravesite service to follow in Terrenceville, NL at a later scheduled date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to his children.
