Linda Hansen Obituary
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of LINDA MARIE HANSEN (Lynn) on December 15, 2025 at the age of 75 in Brooks, Alberta.
Linda was born in Guelph, Ontario December 14, 1950. She was adopted and raised at 2 years old by Elizabeth and Jens Hansen. She grew up having a passion for gardening and preserving her harvests. She worked at the Newell Vegetable Plant for 14 years in 1980. She was a cook in various restaurants through the years. Her pass times were camping, fishing and enjoying family and friends.
Linda is survived by 5 siblings: Freda (Tom) King, Charlie( Wynona) Hansen, George (Marylin) Hansen, Paul (Irene) Hansen, Carl (Vera) Hansen, Margaret Hansen and families. Predeceased by Peter Hansen, Elizabeth and Jens Hansen.
Linda married Isaac Thiessen April of 1969 - 1989 and had 4 children and 7 grandchildren. Michael Thiessen - Bronson, Daynon, Twila Asselin - Melissa (Tim ) Waldner, Hailey, Lucas, Wesley, Tyrell Asselin, Aryanna Asselin. Pauline (Remelino) Pablo, Timothy Thiessen - Matthew, Madison.
She touched many lives with her kindness and beautiful spirit, she will be deeply missed. A private gathering will be held at a later date to honor Linda’s memory.
