Laurie Ann Young "Siipiyohkom-iyaki"

It is with great sadness, our beloved Laurie passed away in Vancouver, BC and happily reunited with her mother Faith (Cookie) Young. Laurie Ann had a great sense of humor like her Dad. Her smile and laughter were who she was. Always willing to help those in need. Laurie left Siksika Nation at a very young age and made Vancouver her home, she had many friends there and family that she called her own.

Laurie (baby) leaves behind her loved father, Danny Black Kettle, her Aunty Grace Young, sisters Verona, Francine, Brenda and Wanda Calf Robe who she grew up around. Uncle Herbie Conrad and special cousins; Angela Black Kettle and Bright Star Young and Irwin Bear Chief, and Bonnie Young.

Laurie was predeceased by her mother Faith (cookie) Young, Cousins; Alvin and Tiffany Black Kettle and Leslie Bear Chief and Tracy Low Horn. Grand Parents; Francis and Bona Black Kettle and Louise & Jimmy Young. Numerous Aunties and Uncles too many to mention.  we apologize if we missed anyone.
