MELTING TALLOW (BIG SNAKE), Kaylem “Sipitopi” (Night Sitter) was born on November 28, 2000 in Calgary, Alberta. He was suddenly taken from us on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Siksika Nation at the age of 22 years. Kaylem was a ‘Kipiitaipooka” which meant he was raised by his grandparents Bonnie and Butch. He was raised in Siksika and made a lot of friends throughout his life. He was an avid gamer and was well known for his gaming achievements. An accomplishment he was very proud of was his graduation from Siksika Nation High School in 2015. He held many different jobs in Siksika as a Community Worker, Youth Mentorship and Public Works. Anyone who knew Kaylem knew he was a gentle giant with a kind heart who had a humorous nature. He was a respectful young man who loved his family and friends. Kaylem’s protective presence will be missed especially by his Papa, his sister, brothers, niece, and baby nephew.
Kaylem leaves behind his mother Kaylee, his ‘Papa’ Francis (Butch) Wolfleg, grandpa Rex Many Guns, auntie/big sister Dalaree (Nick), his sisters; Hannah (Mattias), Miracle, and Bonnie, his brothers; Simon, Louis, Alejandro, and Terry, his nieces Melanie and Araya Sunshine, his nephew Colson. As well as aunties and uncles Darlas, Lisa, Chip, Kennedy (Mick), Jodi (Jackson), Kerri (Tasheena)
