Joanne was also a “certified” powwow braider/outfit inspector. She made sure everyone in the family had neat, tight braids, and after she would look you over and make sure your outfit was in place and neat. She loved to bead and create outfits for her children and nieces. Her home-cooked meals will be missed, as she always tried out new recipes and cooked them full of her love.
