Jason Allan Lockyer

Lockyer - Jason Allan Lockyer passed away suddenly on September 26, 2022 near Brooks at the age of 46 years. He was born on May 14, 1976, in Burin, NL to Ted and Irene Lockyer. He received his education at St. Matthews Elementary and Jacques Fontaine Schools. Jason moved to Brooks in 1997 to work at Lakeside Packers. He met Dawna Galloway in 1997 and they were married on May 5, 2001.

Jason worked for several oil companies, and for the past  7 years, he worked for Cruz Lite.

His special interests included hockey, hunting, and camping. He was a kind, caring, sensitive man, always respectful. He was a wonderful part of our family and he adored his son.

He is survived by his wife and best friend Dawna, his loving son Caleb Jason, his parents Ted and Irene Lockyer of Boat Harbour, NL, brothers Morgan (Peg) Lockyer, Ted (Darlene), sister Daphne (Jerry) Lake of Calgary, mother & father-in-laws Bill & Norma Galloway of Brooks, brother-in-law Cody (Lasca) Galloway, nieces, Olivia Lake, Emily Lockyer, Kyann Galloway Nephews, Andrew Lockyer, Kaden, and Kabri Galloway.

He was pre-deceased by grandparents, aunt Gladys, and precious nephew Evan Galloway.

The Funeral will be held in Boat Harbour Newfoundland.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Brooks.
