Jacqueline or as everyone knew her as Jack, life had begun in Siksika, AB which her and her younger sister Ethel were thought to be twin sons instead of daughters. Along with her brother Harry became the trio that walked and played everywhere near home and when time was so free and no danger.
In 1977, the family left Siksika to live in Edmonton, which eventually became her permanent residence until her illness developed then came home back to Siksika to live out the remainder of her time. Childhood was the same as life in Siksika as the trio still played and explored the city. Her teen years she had turbulence and chaos eventually she found AA/NA when she was 18 years old and has been an avid participant in the program. Prior to her illness, she worked at Lucky Supermarket where she enjoyed working for 10+ years and made many friends with her coworkers and the regular customers.
Jack had a profound love of life and living it on her own terms. She always touched people with her humor, laugh and dedication to her family. She had fierce outlook on life although you would never know by her humble manner.
She is now reunited with her husband, Al of 28 years, her dad Hector, nieces Dana, Angel, Amber, Dulce, Thora and Teisha, nephews Tyler, Trey and Julian. Her AA buddy Uncle Alex Janvier. Uncles: Francis Janvier, John Janvier, Peter Weasel Calf, Campbell Winnipeg, Francis Bear Chief, Clement Bear Chief, Ross Soosay.
