Irvina Calf

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of a dear sister, mother, grandmother, auntie, great auntie, cousin and friend on November 27, 2022  in Calgary Alberta. Irvina was born in Strathmore Alberta on August 24, 1979, she was 43 years old. Irvina leaves to mourn her family who love her very much.

She is survived by her children Jesse Calf, Moses Calf /Medicine Shield, Leland, Brianna and Daija Calf her siblings Carla, Patsy, Travis, Coreen, Noreen (Mike),  Calvin & Anita Calf, Julius, Leita, Stephen, & Raylance Peace Maker & Chip Wolf Leg. Special niece Selma Bad Eagle (Bobby) Numerous nieces, nephews, Uncles, Aunties and Cousins.  She will be remembered for her cheerful spirit, generosity and infectious laugh.

Irvina is predeceased by her grandparents Peter and May Calf,  parents: Irvin Calf SR &Rachel Peace Maker sisters: Marlene Calf, brothers: Orton, Morton and  Joe PeaceMaker nephews Claudio Jr, Peter Calf niece Josette Many Guns

Irvina is survived by her extended families Calfs, Sunwalk, White Eagles, Many Bears, Eagle Rib, White Man, Spring Chief, Brass, Rabbit Carrier, Black Plumes, Black, and apologies for anyone we missed. 

Wake services to be held at One Gun Community Centre at east Siksika Alberta on December 4, 2022 at 2pm-11pm. Funeral Services will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Siksika Nation on Monday December 5, 2022 at 11am officiating Deacon Nelson, cemetery to follow at Canon Stockton Cemetery at West Siksika. Feast at One Gun Community Centre, after gravesite. The Family would like to thank everyone for their Prayers and Condolences.
