Ida Wardrop

IDA NAOMI WARDROP(nee Hanscam)

December 15, 1933 – January 17, 2021

Naomi faced a second battle with cancer with a quiet grace and acceptance. She died in the Brooks Health Centre.  She is survived by 8 children, Barb Wardrop (Wayne Fulmer), Dale Wardrop, Dan Wardrop, Arlene & Craig Oslie, Elenor Wardrop, Donna Kerr, Leila & Mike Stout, Norma & Mike Hall, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, 2 sisters, and large extended family.  She was predeceased by her husband Bill with whom she enjoyed 67 years of marriage.   She was predeceased by her son Donald and her daughter Patricia, her parents, 2 brothers & 1 sister.

A Memorial Service to remember Naomi will be held at a later date.

It is with heartfelt gratitude that Naomi’s family thank the staffs at the Newbrook Lodge, AHS Homecare, Brooks Health Centre, as well as all of the aides and others who cared for Naomi. We appreciate all that you did for her every day.   A special thank you to Doctor Van der Linde and his team for their dedication to Naomi’s care and well-being.
