We sadly announce the passing of Harry “Timothy” Breaker, Natoyii Sophsski “Holy Muskrat” on January 23, 2020 at Strathmore Hospital at the age of 86 years. Tim was a member of the Sa-yiiks Clan (Daring Leader) that originated from the North Blackfoot Territory. He entered Old Sun Residential School at the young age of 4 years old.  He remained until he left at 16 years old. He pursued various jobs such as working with the CPR, carpentry work and in the Breaker family farming and ranching operations.  He was proud to have enrolled in a Canadian Armed Force Militia program in 1961. He also participated in the sports of rodeo (bareback) and hockey. He enjoyed carpentry and mechanic work as a past time. Later in his life, he liked traveling to powwows, watching the Calgary Flames, Calgary Stampeders as well as taking road trips to the USA and visiting his friends and relatives.

In 1953, he married his late wife, Lena Spotted Eagle. They were married for 35 years before Creator called her home in 1988. During their years together, they were proud foster parents to many Siksika children in care.  He will be remembered as a humble, loving, strong, humorous, and giving person to everyone he knew. He always wanted his family to remain strong and have faith in the Creator each and every day.

Tim leaves behind his daughter Edith Rose; his son Stanley (Norvina);  ten (10) grand-children (Tanya ( Lenny), Lillian(Stewart), Brent, Michael , Brittney, Brett, William, Martin, Leeanna, Henry)  and 13 great grandchildren. His special nieces Georgina Sitting Eagle & Noreen Breaker. He also leaves behind his extended family, Breakers, Spotted Eagles, Stud Horses, Cutters, Wolf Collars, Many Shots, Black Plumes, Bear Shirts, family of late Ada Many Guns and Maude Black and numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Martin Breaker and Edith Stud Horse, his wife Lena Breaker, adopted son Joey Calf child, Brother Fred Breaker, sister Edna Blackface and cousin/brothers Robert Breaker Sr. and Alex Breaker
