Gordon Martin Alcock

Gordon Martin Alcock, 79 years young, passed away Aug 6, 2022, from complications of ALS.  Gordon was born Jan 13, 1943 to Elsie and Earl Alcock.  He and his family resided in Rainer and later in Scandia and was employed at the Good Year Tire Plant in Medicine Hat, a steel plant in Calgary, and Joanne Trucking in Brooks. Gordon enjoyed fishing, boating, playing cards, gardening, baking, and spending time with family and friends. Gordon was predeceased by Daughter Deborah and is survived by sister Grace (Gary) Sletvold, brother Gail (Sheila) Alcock and granddaughter Elisse Flahr (Don), Tanya Weatherby, and grandson Daniel Clark; 3 great-grandsons, Christopher, Cameron, and Tyler and numerous nieces and nephews. Gordon will truly be missed by all his friends and family. The Family wishes to thank many friends and family, Brooks Hospital Staff, and South Campus (ALS unit) for caring for Gordon.
