Franz Friessen

FRIESSEN, Franz N. (Frank) of Patricia, Alberta, passed away on July 14, 2021 at the age of 44 years.

Frank was born in Chihuahua, Mexico and grew up and married in Mexico.  In 2003 he moved with his young wife and baby to Canada for better opportunities.   He worked as a farm laborer for 12 years and then realized his dream by purchasing their own farm.   He enjoyed farming very much as well as volunteered to help whenever he could in the Patricia district and at the Reinland Mennonite Church, Brooks, Alberta.

Frank is survived by his wife, Susana Friessen, their five children, Tina, Pancho, Halena, Corny and Timmy, all of Patricia, Alberta, his parents, John and Justina Friessen, of Mexico, as well as two brothers and four sisters and their families.

Funeral services were held on July 17, 2021 at the Reinland Mennonite Church, and burial took place at the Duchess Cemetery.
