Francine Big Tobacco

It is with heavy hearts we sadly announce that our Creator called our beautiful Francine home. Francine was born at the Blackfoot Hospital on Siksika Nation to the late Francis Big Tobacco and the late Edna Fox on August 28, 1964.

She leaves behind to mourn her three sons Joey Big Tobacco (Jennifer), Mark Big Tobacco (Tanisha) and Billy Spring Chief (Kristen). She also leaves her loving siblings Claudia (Joe) Patrick, Melvina (Clifford) Healy, Ivan (Valerie) McMaster and Anthony (Harriet) Red Gun and Jocelyn (Troy) Big Tobacco. Francine was blessed with many grandchildren: Joey Big Tobacco, Antwane Big Plume, Tanaisha Big Plume, Kianna Big Plume, Payten Many Heads, Julian Big Tobacco, Linayah Big Tobacco, Jaiven Spring Chief and Dante Spring Chief.

Francine is now united with our heavenly family: her parents Francis Big Tobacco and Edna Fox; siblings Joseph Big Tobacco, Irma Wolf Child, Joyce Big Tobacco, Rena Maguire, Jeffrey Big Tobacco, Delia White Eagle, Anne Many Heads, Frank Big Tobacco and Woody Royal; niece Karen Healy and nephew Chase Big Tobacco.

Francine came from a large family of James and Mary Many Guns, Scalplocks, Bull Bears, Cut Manes, Red Guns, Rabbit Carriers, Big Throats, Hind Bulls, Cutters, Breakers, Fox’s and Ayoungmans. The family sincerely apologizes for anyone they may have missed.

Francine will be brought home to Siksika Nation August 26, 2020 at 9 a.m. to her son Mark Big Tobacco’s residence (House 6 Map 4). Funeral Services will take place August 26, 2020 at 1 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Francine will be laid to rest in the Paul Little Walker Cemetery on Siksika Nation, Alberta. The family invites you to join them at her son Marks after wards for the feast.
