Floyd Francis Yellowfly

Floyd Francis Yellowfly passed away peacefully at Strathmore hospital on March 14, 2021, at the age of 69 with his children, grandchildren and siblings by his side. Floyd is survived by His mother Doris YellowFly (Owl Child), adopted mother Virginia Medicine Traveller and Uncle Albert Owlchild, his Children: Kendrick (Marjory Rafanan) Three Suns, Keith (Rhonda) Three Suns and Kendra Three Suns and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren - Siblings: Jeffery Wesley Yellowfly, Elizabeth (Ernie) Yellowfly, Bernice Yellowfly, George Ayoungman, Billy (Vera) Owlchild. Nieces: Tracey (Daylen) Many guns, Samantha (Tim) Wolfchild Nephews: Shane Camron Yellowfly, TJ Blackhorse, Nealon Yellowfly, Brandon Yellowfly. Nemours great-nephews and nieces. Floyd worked with siksika housing during the 70’s and as a construction worker in Gunn, Alberta. In his younger days, Floyd played hockey with the Gleichen Gunners, Siksika buffalos and Siksika rebels. Throughout his later years, Floyd traveled across Canada but he did prefer to keep his life private. Floyd had many great accomplishments during his lifetime and enjoyed being with his grand-children.  Floyd Francis Yellow Fly is predeceased by His father Kenneth Yellowfly, sisters: Linda Yellowfly, Vivan Service, Paula Ayoungman Family: Jeffery Yellowfly, Joshua Yellow fly his granddaughter Kieran Rafanan Three Suns, Sage First Rider and Blaze Three Suns. Floyd will always be remembered as a loving Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandpa and friend, but most will always be remembered for his silly humor and kind heart.
