We announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother Donald Willier of Sucker Creek, AB; he made his home in Siksika for 48 years. He leaves behind to mourn his wife Joan, his children Stanley Willier, Pammy, Susie (Ike), Kody (Marlo), Darrel (Tasha) his adopted son Harley (Delia) best bingo friend James Man Jerry, His grandchildren ,Aaron, Lynsey, Shianne, Adam, Riley, Robin, Krissy, Jamie, Melanie, Toni, great grandchildren Kallan, Bryten Don, Gracie, Jonas, Dreyton, Cree, Matthias, Shanelle, Justine, Riel, Elena. Siblings Mariella , Rosina, Gladys, Lester, Chief Rod Willier, Steve (Sandy), Hazel (Henry), Brenda. His in-laws Joyce (Jack), Shirley, Errol (Anne), AnnMarie (Rocky), Kelly (Jackie).Also the bingo palace ladies. The Doore family traditionally adopted Don, the Late Lesley and Rosa Doore. The late Mr. Tom Scalplock gave Don an Indian name; Piitaipooka. His favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, going to visit his family in Sucker Creek, he loved Bingo especially the ones held in Siksika and then annual Spring Chief camp. He loved watching the Flames, Blue Jays and Raptors. He lived in South Camp since 1985 and loved being home with his wife Joan. He was employed with Indian Affairs in 1985 working at Crowfoot School as a maintenance supervisor for 12 years. In 1997 he started working with Siksika Public Works as a Water Operator till his retirement in June 2005. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph & Jean Willier, children Donnie, Donna, Connie. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses in the ICU & Unit 37 at Foothills Medical Center
Wake Services- Monday June 6, 2022 @ 6 pm at Don & Joan’s residence South Camp -Map 8 House 2. Funeral Tuesday June 7, 2022 Siksika Holy Trinity Church @ 1pm
