Donald C. Good Eagle

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend, Donald (Donnie) Cyril Allen (Imitaoko’s) Good Eagle on Thursday, November 5, 2020.  Donnie is a member of the Hind Bull Clan.  Donnie was active in the rodeo arena as a Bull Rider, and Wild Horse Racer.  Donnie loved working with animals and spending time with loved ones.  Donnie graduated grade 9 from Milo School and attended Cluny High School.  Donnie was a kind, loving man, who would help in any way he could.  Donnie loved to joke around with loved ones.  He followed the traditional Siksika ways and showed respect to all those he interacted with.  Donnie was employed as contractor with Siksika Housing for several years; he was gifted when working with his hands. 

Donnie leaves to mourn his children Shawntaya, Donte, Dawson, Jerica, Tamryn, Piikunahkii (Hydee), his granddaughter, Aizley, his loving mother Margaret, siblings Cheryl (Gerald), Sally, Cameron, Delores (Randy), Joe (Mel), Louise, Ian, Andrea, Stephanie, Renee, Dion, April, Darren (Sheri); step-children, Jeffrey, Chasidy, Theo, Khadejah, Dakota, CJay and Jayden and numerous nephews and nieces from the Good Eagle and White Eagle Families survive him.  His wife Jerilyn, father, Harry, brother Mervin, and numerous other relatives predecease Donnie.

The wake services will be on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 6 pm at the residence of Margaret Good Eagle.  The funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Siksika Nation.  The funeral service is by invite only due to COVID-19 restrictions.
