Donald Anderson (February 12, 1941 – April 9, 2026) passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026. He was a kind and gentle man whose life was defined by family, hard work, and the quiet joy he found in sharing stories and time with others. Donald is survived by his children: Donald Jr., Barb (Carl), Donna, Blair (Janice), Dino, and Audrey (Tony). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Rose Anderson, as well as his siblings Tom Henry, Delbert, Victoria, Angie, and Margaret. He was additionally predeceased by his daughter, Penny. Other family members include Lori Davis, Linda, Clarence, Wilbert, and Madelyn Anderson, and Leonard, Lawrence, Billy, and David Mosquito. Donald also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, including Alice Michelle, Judy, Dorothy, Terry, Alanna, Betty Ann, Jackie, Trent, and Roy Sherida, along with many others too numerous to mention. Donald spent many years working on farms and ranches across Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. He also worked for many years in Rainier, Alberta. Throughout his working life, he was known for his steady character and dedication. In his later years, Donald cherished visiting with family and friends, especially over tea, where he would share old stories and the memories of a life well lived. His love for his children and grandchildren remained a central part of who he was.
