Diana Lynne Capon

Diana Lynne Capon, 77, of Brooks Alberta, passed away September 18, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. Diana was born in Brooks on January 27, 1946, to Melvin and Louise Albertson. Diana was the mother to Lee Capon and Amber Kurtz. She raised her children with love and devotion in Brooks with her husband Leon Capon. While living in Brooks Diana was the owner of Brooks Central Cleaners where she worked for many years. In 1985 she decided to pursue a nursing career and moved to Medicine Hat to begin her schooling. Diana was accepted into the nursing program at Ponoka Hospital where she received her Nursing accreditation. Her nursing career took her to Calgary and Drumheller. In 2011, Diana decided to move back to the Brooks area (Rosemary) for retirement but ended up taking a position with Dr. Grobbelaar and the Newell Clinic until she officially retired. Diana is survived by her husband Leon Renny Capon; Children Lee Capon, Amber Kurtz and their spouse Catherine Capon and Gary Kurtz; grandchildren, Carly Bryant, Kole Kurtz, Toni Kurtz and great-granddaughter Felicity Bryant; Siblings Carolyn Wilfley and Richard Albertson and her nephews and nieces whom she loved deeply.
