Dean Three Suns

The Three Suns family are saddened by the passing of their beloved brother, Dean Three Suns. Dean battled his illness for so long. He was called home and welcomed by his relatives in Heaven on Sunday, October 3, 2021. In appreciation, the family extends their gratitude to the medical team at the Fanning Centre in Calgary, Alberta. The Fanning centre provided extensive caregiving for Dean for countless years. Dean was the youngest of his family and was a favorite sibling. Dean is survived by his siblings, Frank, Stanford (Karen), Alvin, and Stanley. All his nieces and nephews loved Uncle Dean and he treasured them all. He was such a gentle mild mattered person. In his humble nature, Dean showed a lot of love and respect for his relatives and to the many siblings, his parents had adopted.

There are fond memories of the Three Suns clan gathering at our Grandmother Mary Jane Three suns’ two room shack. His siblings along with many cousins were raised as a close-knit family. Dean being one of the youngest, other cousins cherished him and tend to spoil him. He was always excited about family gatherings. He had a bubbly nature and easily had a good relationship with people. Dean will be remembered for his kindness and caring attitude. He was also very considerate and felt the family was so important.

He was predeceased by his parents Pius & Margaret Three Suns, late Brothers Henry (Priscilla), Michael, Donnie, and his late Sisters, Rosaline, Emma (Harold), Joyce, and Albertine. His grandmothers, Mary Jane Three Suns and Margaret Bad Boy – special Aunties, Julia Wright, Alice Three Suns and Emily (Three Suns) Red Crow and special uncles, Max, Mike, Windsor, and George Corn.

Wake services will be held at the residence of Frank Three Suns, Siksika Nation on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 6:00 pm. The Funeral mass service is at Frank Threesuns residence, Siksika Nation on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 11:00 am. Graveside service to follow at Little Chicago Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to Frank’s residence to pick up the Feast box. Covid regulation will apply and be respected.
