David Kirk Wales

David Kirk Wales passed away peacefully at the Brooks Health Centre on November 15, 2022 at the age of 77 years. Husband, father, pappa & friend he will be always loved & remembered fondly by his wife Arlaine & daughter Kim (Brooks, AB), son Peter (Mackenzie, BC) grandchildren Conner & Maeven (Prince George, BC), special spiritual children, son John Duwana (Calgary, AB) and daughter Maureen Banda Chelemu (Brooks, AB). Thanks also to his favourite hospital security guard & family friend Loretta Westwick who would visit him as often as she could. David would want everyone reading his obit to know that he was not a perfect man but he knew the amazing, forgiving love of a perfect Saviour named Jesus and that you can also know that love as well in your own life.  In lieu of a traditional funeral the family has opted for a Sunday morning church service to be held at Brooks international Gospel Church in Brooks, Alberta on Jan 15, 2023 @ 10:30 am. Light lunch to follow.  Pastor Maureen Banda Chelemu. The family would like to thank the amazing doctors, nurses & Health Care aides that provided David with such amazing care during his illness. Officiating. The family will also be having a private family gathering in BC next summer.
