  It is with Great Sadness that we announce the Passing of our beloved David Leonard O’tsimiohkitopi- Sorrel Horse. He leaves to mourn the Love of his life Laura Maguire and the beat to his heart, his baby girl Anistyn, his children whom he raised Ivy and Kordel Maguire whom he cherished and loved as his own. David leaves to mourn many friends and children who meant so much to him, especially during his dedication to coaching Hockey and Baseball in Siksika Nation. David grew up on the Eastside of Siksika Nation in Little Washington. He Attended Crowfoot School, Siksika High School & graduated from Sequoia Outreach School. He was a firefighter, Hockey Player and Baseball player, David loved his Calgary Flames and New York Yankees and was a devoted fan. David’s passion was being involved in the Siksika Minor Hockey and Siksika Baseball Leagues (Adult & Minor) and encouraging the youth. He leaves many Team mates and will be missed on the Ice and in the field as he played with many friends and relatives on numerous teams. David will be missed and leaves to mourn Numerous Relatives of the extended families of Sitting Eagle, Wolf Collar, Wolfleg, Many Bears, Calf, Jerry. He has leaves to mourn numerous relatives in North Battleford, Sweetgrass Saskatchewan and Wabasca. The family would like to Thank those that have offered your condolences and love and support during this difficult time.Wake services will be on April 2.. Funeral Service at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church April 3. Please respect Alberta Health guidelines for this service. Until further notice all funeral related events are by invitation only.
