August 1, 1963 - May 19, 2022

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our brother and uncle. Sam was always known to have a smile and for making the ones around him laugh. He never failed to make everyone feel unwelcomed. He grew up in Shouldice and in his younger years he played fast ball with the Shouldice Hawks, in his later years he played slo-pitch. Sam loved hunting, fishing and taking rides on his quad and the annual Spring Chief camp. In the last few years, he learned how to golf because he wanted to take part in our family golf tourneys. He was a huge Oilers fan and his good friend Robin brought him to two games. He leaves to mourn his siblings; Joan (Don), Joyce (Jack), Shirley, Errol (Anne), Ann Marie (Rocky), Harley (Delia), Kelly (Jackie); Aunties Christine LC, Aunt Rose BB, Uncle Randy SC; adopted brother Errol BH; brothers-in-law Ryan MB and Allen S.; his fur babies Blister, Daisey, Buttons, also numerous nieces and nephews and in-laws, Jennifer (Allen), Myrna(Gerald), Brian (Jeanette), Curtis, and Maryana. He is reunited with his loving wife Alexis; parents John and Elizabeth; siblings Brenda, Delphine, Annette, and Floyd, nieces and nephews Ivan, Elaine, Jane, Jason, Keith, Mckayla, and Drew.
