Christopher Benedict Ferraz passed away peacefully at home in Cluny, AB on February 24, 2022.
Chris was born in Trinidad and Tobago on September 17, 1945. He later moved to Canada at a young age. Growing up Chris found a love for cars and later became a licensed mechanic where he could always be found in the garage. Chris & Carolyn’s love story began when they met in church in Sherbrook Quebec & were married just a year later, in 1977. Chris enjoyed a fulfilling career driving for Greyhound where he made many cherished memories with colleagues and people who joined him on his routes.
Chris had a profound faith and love for the lord which poured into all aspects of his life. He spent his time deeply devoted to his faith, serving the members of his church and loved ones, and never turned away anyone seeking advice or prayer. It was Chris’ mission in life to inspire others to find the love of Jesus and strength within their faith.
Chris and Carolyn enjoyed traveling on a regular basis. From family trips to camping and being outdoors, Chris always lived life to the fullest. Chris loved spending his time with family and friends and left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to cross his path. We will miss his incredible sense of humor, his positive outlook on life but most of all we are comforted knowing he is in his final resting place with his lord and savior.
Predeceased by his parents Edith & Ignatius Ferraz. Daughter Cymantha and his son Scott. His brother Joseph. Sister Mercedes & her husband Bill. His sister Rosemary(Edwin). His brother Andre, brother-in-law Raymond, Ralph, and Allen.
