Christ Alex Irakoze

Christ Alex Irakoze was 29 years old and lived in the city of Calgary.
He passed away on February 22, 2024 in Calgary.
He was born June 1 st 1994, in Burundi, in the city of Muramvya, Buganda in the province of
Muramvya.
His parents were Georges Baragahorana and Juliette Nindorera.
Christ’s parents also passed away and he was adopted by his uncle, the younger brother of his
father. He grew up with his cousins: Kevin Niyoyitungira, Christ Abel Irakoze, Nick Dushime,
Dan Davy Irankunda. He went to primary school in Bujumbura and junior high school 2009 until
grade 8. He came to Canada in the City of Calgary October 2009. He went to Junior
high school at St. Marguerite Bourgeois from 2009-2010. He was transferred to Junior
high school at Dr E.P. Scarlett. He graduated from high school in 2014. He studied Criminal Justice
at Mount Royal University from 20214 to 2019.
Christ was single. Christ loved music and going out with friends.
The memorial service will be held March 2nd, 2024, at 11:30pm in the Southview
Community Association Hall (2020 33 Street SE).
Viewing will take place at the Southview Community Association Hall (2020 33 Street
SE) on March 1st, 2024, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral will take place at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery (243208 Garden
Rd, Rocky View County) after the memorial service.
Celebration of life will follow the burial at the Southview Community Association Hall
(2020 33 St. SE) from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
We thank everyone friends and community members for their love and support. Christ
loved life, people and God. He will be greatly missed.
