Catlyn Storm of Siksika and Kanai Nations passed away at Powell River, B.C. on July 5, 2025 at the age of 40 Years. Catlyn was known to be a very kind, generous and understanding individual who showed his love to all by his actions. Catlyn was known throughout Canada and the U.S. for his love of music. He was very talented and had a beautiful voice. He loved to play basketball and much of his time was past cheering on his favourite team the L.A. Lakers. Catlyn loved wrestling and had an opportunity to train with the Hart Foundation of Calgary which was ran by the Hart brothers. He had dreams of being a professional wrestler. Catlyn was known and loved by many and was accepted with open arms in many communities on Nation Lands. Catlyn wrote a children’s book which was published in Africa and also wrote another children’s book at Sequoia Outreach, Siksika Nation for which he received an award from Alberta Education. He obtained his education and graduated from Siksika Outreach, Siksika Nation. Catlyn also worked at Agra Foundation in Calgary as an outrigger along with his dad, Gildas Storm. Catlyn was a hard worker and spent time at Fort McMurray working in the oil industry. He had many friends and family and will be missed dearly. Catlyn is survived by his loving family; parents, Gildas Storm and Joanne Black Plumbe; siblings, Tyson, Taurus, Tatum, Onida, Freeman and Deshane, as well as numerous aunts, uncles; great aunt, Rosemarie Poor Eagle and cousins including many families such as; Storm, Big Eye, Running Rabbit, Duck Chief, Munro, Springchief, Melting Tallow, Solway, McMaster, Running Bird, Sunwalk, and Sleigh families.
