With heavy hearts, the family of Carlin Claude (Pinapikitstann) Crow Spreading Wings
announce his passing on December 6, 2024 at the age of 45 at the Lethbridge Hospital.
Pinapikitstaan was born and raised in Siksika by his parents; Alphina Yellowfly and the late
Claude Crow Spreading Wings. The majority of his childhood life was spent in Moses Lake and Siksika where he grew up. Pinapikitstaan is predeceased by his late father Claude Crow Spreading Wings, his stepfather Donnie (Sa’ai) Yellowfly, his siblings Carla Dawn Big Snake and Jolene Belcourt, his nephew’s; Andre Big Snake and Baby Julius Big Snake. Predeceased by his grandparents Mary Lillian Cutter and Bernard Big Snake, numerous Aunts, Uncles and relatives. He is survived by his mother Alphina Yellowfly, his fur babies; Callie, Jabba, Jericho and Patches, his siblings; Lauren Big Snake and Dana Big Snake, Uncle; Robin Big Snake, Aunties; Bernadette Eagle Bear, Vivian Big Snake, Rosie Many Shots, Floria Duck Chief, Mildred Broad Scalp Lock, Shirley Spotted Eagle, Mary Ann Crow-Healy, and Myra Crow. His nieces/nephews whom he loved so dearly; Alize, Daija, Jewel, Marley, Rick The Third, Dior, Shellayna, Tia, Kyland, Katie, Tanisha, Delores, Jackie. Pinapikitstaan is also survived by Great Auntie Rosemarie Poor Eagle and Great Uncle Joe Patrick. Godparents Daryl and Mona McDonald. Special friends Connie Shouting, Larissa Big Snake, Cheyanne Kootney, Lynn Poor Eagle, Shawn Axe, JR WaterChief, Romeo Crow Chief and Gloria Haberlack.
Pinapikitstaan had a passion for everything from cooking to travelling the world, TikTok, singing, going to church, movie time with his nieces and nephews, taking his mother Alphina on trips, creating memories with his family and his fur babies. Pinapikitstaan will also be remembered for the love of his music to the up to date beat to ‘Oldies But Goodies’, some of his favourites were Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Prince, TLC, Tina Turner, he also loved gospel music too and also collected LP’s and 45’s. He also loved going to live concerts and met TLC back stage to get his T-Shirt autograph. His humour and humility always put people at ease. He was a kind, caring, humble and loving person, Pinapikitstaan was everybody’s friend. He was a true believer in our Lord Jesus Christ and was strong in his faith. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, his kindness and compassionate spirit. He touched the lives of so many; our beloved, happy Pinapikitstaan, the light of our lives and the star of our hearts and leaves us smiling through our tears. He was joy personified. Please spread his message of love, dance and laughter and to be good to one another.

Funeral will be held at the ‘Gladstone Community Hall’ on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 1:00pm. Feast will be held at the ‘Gladstone Community Hall’ on Saturday, December 14, 2024
